The Katerina Institute of Ancient Musical Instruments, which was established by the late Kimihiro Matsumoto in 1972, is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year.
Through ancient musical instruments, as an advocate of one way of life, creation in a life close to the soil, nature and human beings
It has been 31 years since the base was moved from Tokyo to Yamaka in 1992 with the aim of creating sounds that are born in harmony and symbiosis.
While cherishing the many stories that have been spun and produced in this forest,
As a sound of rich hope that creates the future, we will further develop the story with three performances.
